A new technologically advanced project of considerable size has been entrusted to GeoStream. The contract includes the design, construction and start-up of a water pumping system using wellpoint technology and a water treatment system through a physical chemical section and final filtration on quartz sand and activated carbon columns.
The installation involves the laying of a fiberglass collecting line with a length of more than 1000 meters, and an insulated carbon steel exhaust manifold installed on the factory rack of the premises, which is approximately 400 meters long.
The hydraulic barrier that will be built will be made up of n. 311 well points along the plant’s N-E and S-E perimeter, with a distance of 3 m from each other. The relative treatment system will have the potential of 120m3 / h, divided into 3 parallel treatment lines, in order to guarantee greater flexibility and continuous operation.
The main components of the system are an oil separator of 25m3, an equalization tank of 480m3, three lamellar sedimenters and six filtration columns of 10m3 / each.
The system will be started and tested in the first half of 2018, in order to start the plant SMS for the removal of hydrocarbons and solvents.
